A tight second quarter finished with Monroe grabbing a 41-38 lead at halftime.

An 11-3 run to open the fourth quarter seemed to give the Express the cushion they needed to end the game, but a late 12-4 WCC run made things interesting, but the comeback could not be completed.

Six Vikings scored during the game as Chynna Mincey (Bronx, NY/Business of Sports HS) had nine points and eight rebounds, Shanaya Jones (Bronx, NY/Health Opportunities HS) chipped in 8 points and 15 rebounds, and Jada Tom (Elmsford, NY/Alexander Hamilton HS) added eight points as well.
