Westchester Community College has earned the Mid-Hudson Conference All Sports Award for the 2015-16 season. The award is emblematic of the College that did the best in Mid-Hudson Conference Competition in all sports over the year. Key to the Viking’s win were first place finishes in Men’s Soccer, Golf and Baseball. This is the third time that Westchester has earned the prestigious award and the first time they have earned it outright.


Stephanie Frank (North Rockland High School), a second year bowler for the Vikings was given the NJCAA AWARD FOR EXEMPLARY ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT.


Brulinda Frangaj (RC Ketcham HS) a 2nd year player with a perfect 4.00 Academic Average was given the PINNACLE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD by the NJCAA.


Daniel Meaney (Stepinac HS) a sophomore pitcher with a perfect 4.00 average was awarded The NJCAA Superior Academic Achievement Award. Austin Pollack (Harrison High School) The Region player of the year received the NJCAA Pinnacle Academic Achievement Award and Gjon Ljucovic (Pelham HS) received the NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement Award.


Ashley Viola (Carmel HS) and Natalie Messina (Walter Panas HS) were given the NJCAA Award for Superior Academic Achievement and Amanda Bozentko (Yorktown HS) was given the NJCAA Award for Exemplary Academic Achievement.
