Westchester Community College has earned the Mid-Hudson Conference All Sports Award for the 2015-16 season.

The award is emblematic of the College that did the best in Mid-Hudson Conference Competition in all sports over the year. Key to the Viking’s win were first place finishes in Men’s Soccer, Golf and Baseball. This is the third time that Westchester has earned the prestigious award and the first time they have earned it outright.

BASEBALL

Daniel Meaney (Stepinac HS), Austin Pollack (Harrison HS), Gjon Lujkovic (Pelham HS), Luke MacKenzie (North Salem HS), Brendan Cuni (Mamaroneck HS), Matthew Brembs (Iona Prep), Rocco Cipriano (Dobbs Ferry HS), Joseph Corradi (Mahopac HS) and Devin Merone ( Eastchester HS) were named to the All Mid-Hudson Conference Academic team for the 2016 Winter and Spring season.

GOLF

JUNE 6-10TH Brian Crawford (Carmel HS) finished 35t at the NJCAA National Championship Golf Tournament at Chautauqua Country Club in Jamestown NY. Crawford finished the 72 hole tournament with a Club in Jamestown NY. Crawford finished the 72 hole tournament with a 18, going 80, 76,83, 79… Roberto Lira (Mamaroneck HS), Brian Crawford (Carmel HS), Brandon DeRubeis (Valhalla HS) and Chad Brackenrig (Ossining HS) were named to the All Mid Hudson Conference Academic team for the Spring Season.

WOMEN’S BOWLING

Stephanie Frank (North Rockland HS) and Jocelyn Sanchez (White Plains HS) were named to the All Mid-Hudson Conference Academic Team for the 2016 winter season.

MEN’S BOWLING

Brian Crawford (Carmel HS) and Shaun Conner (New Rochelle HS) were named to the 2016 Winter season, All Mid Hudson Conference Academic Team

SOFTBALL

Natalie Messina (White Plains HS), Ashley Violas (Carmel HS), Amanda Bozentko (Yorktown HS), Maiya Harris ( Bronx, NY) and Lauren DeSouza (Hastings HS) were named to the Mid Hudson Conference Academic Team for spring 2016.
