Kianna Nichols of Dutchess Community College has been selected the Mid Hudson Conference Most Valuable Player of the 2016-2017 women’s basketball season. The sophomore helped the Lady Falcons to a 12-12 record and led the team in total points (469), points per game (19.5), free throws made, total rebounds, assists and steals.
Voted to the All-Conference first team are AnnMarie Chiappone (Orange), Ashley McDonald (Sullivan), Nyasia Harris (Orange), Casey Waldron (Orange) and Kyla Given (Sullivan).
Voted to the second team are Amal Mahmoud (Sullivan), Virginia Wheatley (Dutchess) and Olivia Malles (Dutchess)
