Joseph Danko a freshman on the Westchester Community College Golf Team is the Mid-Hudson Conference Athlete of the Week.
Danko shot a 74 at the Westchester Tournament, on Monday at Dunwoodie. This is the low round by a Mid-Hudson Conference golfer this season. Danko followed up his 74 by shooting a 77 at the Sullivan Tournament at Lochmor.
Danko, who was in 5th place in the Conference individual standings, moved into first and won the Conference individual Championship. He made the All-Conference Team and is the Conference Golf MVP.
Danko is a freshman out of Somers High School in Somers, NY.
