Congratulations to Elijah Hernandez (SUNY Westchester) and Allison Daniels (SUNY Sullivan) for being name the Mid Hudson Conference players of the week for the week of February 17 – 23, 2025.
Elijah scored 30 points, 8 rebounds and had 8 assists against Sullivan on February 18th. He then followed that up by breaking the school record, scoring 50 points to go along with 7 assists and 7 steals versus Ulster on February 20th and then the very next night scoring 48 points and adding 6 rebounds and 4 assists versus Nassau. His 98 points in a two-game span is also a Westchester record, and he sits just two points shy of 1000 in his two-year career at WCC. This is Elijah’s second player of the week honors for the 24-25 season.
Allison led the team in scoring this week in 2 wins. Allison have 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assist against Bryant Stratton -Syracuse and 19 points against Nationally Ranked Dlll opponent Onondaga CC. This is Allison’s second player of the week honors for the 24-25 season.
