The Lady Lions of Nassau County Community College ended the Lady Hawks’ winning streak by beating Rockland 69-61 at Nassau tonight. Nanuet High graduate Nikki Saponaro led Rockland with 13 points and five steals while Pearl River graduate Melissa Loughnane and G.F. Baker graduate Katie Sovak contributed 10 points each.
The Lady Hawks will now travel to Selden, NY to face the Lady Sharks of Suffolk County Community College in a Region XV Match tomorrow.
