Tennis Competes at Regional Tournament This Weekend.
First, the new-look Men’s Tennis team embarks on a trip this weekend to the Region XV Tournament at Suffolk County Community College in Selden. Coach Joe Gravagna led the Hawks to a 3-2 record in regular season Region XV play. The tournament gets underway this afternoon (4/25) and concludes on Saturday evening. RCC last competed in the Region XV Tournament in 2010, and took home the second place trophy.

Baseball Endures Schedule Changes
Due to a clerical oversight, the RCC Baseball team has been forced to finish their season a week early in order to make way for the Region XV Tournament. The tournament, originally scheduled for May 9-11, has been pushed up to next weekend, May 2-4. Thus, next week’s games against Dutchess, will be played this upcoming Sunday (4/27) and Monday (4/28). The Hawks, who already have clinched a playoff berth, are now 10-3 in conference play and currently sit atop the league standings. Upcoming home games include a 4pm start today against Ulster, and a 12pm start against Dutchess on Sunday. The Region XV Tournament will be held at Cantine Field in Saugerties starting on Friday May 2.

Golf Team Hosts Tournament
The men’s golf team once again hosts the Region XV Tournament at Rotella Golf Course in Haverstraw. Action will get underway on May 14, with the final round taking place on May 16.

GO HAWKS!
