Alyjah Cruz of Dutchess Community College Softball team was named the NJCAA Region XV March Female Athlete Of The Month. This is her first athlete of the month honors.
During the month, Cruz was 4-0 with 2.79 ERA and 23 strikeouts as a starting pitcher. At the plate, she is batting .500 with four RBI, a home run, three walks and 10 runs scored.
