The 2012 Region XV Division II Baseball Tournament will return to Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill for the second time in four years. “The Dutch” last hosted the event in 2009 when Dutchess Community College ousted rival SUNY Orange to claim its first D2 title. Pairings for this season’s event will be determined at a seeding meeting on Monday April 30. The first pitches of the tournament will be thrown on Thursday May 3 at the higher seed site. The four teams will then travel to the home of the Hudson Valley Renegades on Saturday May 5 for a triple-header starting at 2pm. The Championship game will begin at 12 Noon on Sunday May 6, with an if-necessary game to follow.
