Hawks Completes Maryland Trip With Another Win

RCC, behind key goals from Cristian Diaz and Oluremi “Martin” Williams, defeated Prince Georges, 3-1, Sunday afternoon in Largo, MD.

Martin started with a goal at the fourth minute (4:17) from a Tommy Kcira pass and the Hawks never look back. El Hadji Kanoute put Rockland up two goals to none in the 13th minute before Dennis Ezenwaka scored the lone goal for Prince George at the 26th minute. Cristian sealed the win for the Hawks with a goal at the 81st minute from a Alex Castillo assist. Jorge Vasquez-Zaez recorded six saves.

The win completed the first two-game sweep for the team’s annual Maryland trip in nearly 10 years. RCC outscored Anne Arundel, 2-1 on Saturday. The Hawks now open Mid Hudson Conference play when they visit Ulster on Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 4pm.
