SUNY Orange won the Region XVI Division II Crown this weekend at Warwick, Rhode Island.
Orange defeated Massasoit 3-2 before losing to Community College of Rhode Island 15-5 in the opening round. On Championship day, Orange had to defeat Massasoit 7-3 to set a championship showdown against CCRI, who had a twice to beat advantage. Orange won both 3-1 and 4-1 to win the crown.
Orange will host Mercer CC for the District G Championship on May 5 at Davidge Park in Middletown.
