Orange County Community College Freshman Forward Taylor Briggs was named Mid-Hudson Conference Athlete of the week for the week December 2-8.
Briggs, who is a graduate of College of Staten Island High School for International Studies High School set an Orange County Community College record by pulling down 25 rebounds in a Mid-Hudson Conference game at Westchester. Briggs also scored 29 points against Dutchess. The Colts went 2-1 and 2-0 in conference play while Briggs averaged 17.7 points and 18 rebounds per game.
