The Region XV Tennis Committee is pleased to announce that the 2009 edition of the men’s tournament will move to the United States Tennis Center in Flushing, New York. It will mark the first time that the tournament will be held at the site of the historic U.S. Open. Previously, the tournament has been played at the Concord Resort, the Nevelle Grande Resort and Orange County Community College in Middletown.
This year’s event will get underway on Friday April 24 with the seeding meeting taking place at 8:30am. Coaches and team are encouraged to arrive early and anticipate delays getting to the center. Following the meeting, play will begin at 9:30am. After Friday’s preliminary and semi-final rounds, action will resume with final in all flights beginning at 9am on Saturday April 25.
