The Lady Hawks came home empty-handed after suffering back-to-back defeats against Queensborough Community College and Nassau Community College yesterday.
In the first game, the Lady Hawks lost the first set before coming back during the second set. But they were not able to sustain that momentum and loss the next two sets to Queensborough 18-25, 25-21, 21-25, 16-25. North Rockland graduate Cristina Ruballos (West Haverstraw) registered 22 digs while Spring Valley graduate Khayla Rodriguez (Spring Valley) had 19 digs.
In the second game, the Lady Lions of Nassau defeated the Lady Hawks in straight sets 16-25, 10-25, 13-25.
