A brace and assist from Luis Birchett helped life Rockland to a 3-1 win over Dutchess yesterday afternoon at Lourdess High School.
The Hawks opened the scoring in the 6th minute courtesy of Cristian Lazaro, the lone goal of the first half. Birchett scored his first goal in the 47th minute before Sebastian Lopez scored the lone goal for Dutchess in the 87th minute.
Rockland (1-1) will host Union County on Thursday, September 8 before heading back on the road on Saturday, September 10 in a region match against Nassau.
