#2 Dutchess was upset by #3 N. Essex 3-6 in the opening round of the 2016 Region XV Division III Tournament held. Dutchess was then upset by Nassau in the losers bracket 9-1 ending their title hopes. The tournament was won by Suffolk.
Amanda Gonzalez and Alyjah Cruz were named to the All-Tournament Team.
