The Women’s Basketball team at Rockland Community College had an impressive academic year in 2016. The Women placed 10th academically with a 3.45 GPA among all Women’s NJCAA basketball programs. 3 members of the team were also recognized individually by the NJCAA with scholar-athlete awards. Jessica Neugebauer and Olivia Neretich were honored with Superior awards for GPA’s ranging between 3.80-3.99. Kara Burkhart was honored with Exemplary for her GPA in the 3.60-3.79 range. Dr. Cliff L. Wood, President of Rockland Community College, recognized these accomplishments of the team as well as scholar athletes from our other athletic programs on the evening of August 25th, 2016 at an awards ceremony.
