Robert Shine (Saunders HS) was almost perfect in the second game of singles at the SCCC Classic at Boulevard Bowl. Shine opened with 11 straight strikes before finishing with a 296. Shine went on to have a 729 series and won the tournament singles title. On Saturday Shine threw a 700 to win the Boulevard Bowl Classic singles title. Shine averaged 225 on Saturday and 222 on Sunday and finished 2nd and 3rd in All Events. The Vikings finished 14th as a team on both days.
Jocelyn Sanchez (White Plains HS) led the Viking women to two 8th place finishes with a 155 and a 167 averages.
Men’s and Women’s Bowling team will be back on action next Saturday, February 11 at the Suffolk Tournament being held at AMF Babylon.
