Dan Tauken of the Rockland Community College Baseball team has been named the Mid-Hudson Conference Athlete of the Week.
In a 4 games series against Dutchess CC, Freshman Dan Tauken went 7 for 12 (.583 average) with 8 RBI’s which included 2 doubles, 1 triple and 8 runs scored.
The Hawks swept the 4-game series from Dutchess. The series concluded with Tauken as the winning pitcher in the 4th game, giving up only 1 run and 2 hits while striking out 4.
Tauken is a Freshman out of Clarkstown North High School in Clarkstown, New York.
