Former WCC Bowler Dennis Light Inducted to NJCAA Bowling Coach Association Hall of Fame

Dennis Light, a former WCC Bowler has been nominated to the Bowling Coach’s Association Hall of Fame 2009 class. He was part of the 1993 and 1994 Westchester Community College Bowling Team. Dennis was WCC’s first All American and garnering that honor twice. In 1994, he threw an 801 series in the National Doubles Competition winning the National Doubles Championship with teammate Antonio Arzaga. He then went on to average 233 for the tournament and finish second in All Events.

Dennis Light has won 13 Empire State Games Medals, 12 County Championships and 3 New York State Championships. He has 11 career 300 games and six 800 series plus a high average of 228.

Dennis is the past President of the Westchester County Bowling Association and current President of the New York State Bowling Association, along with being a member of the WCBA hall of Fame and the Westchester Community College Hall of Fame. Dennis is an Accomplished White Plains area lawyer.
