The Rockland Community College spring sports season officially heats up this week when the Hawks host several opponents in three outdoor activities.
The defending Region XV Champion Hawk baseball team hosts arch-rival Westchester on Saturday April 5 in a doubleheader. The team is off to 3-5 start after a March southern-New Jersey season opening swing.
The new-look Men’s Tennis team will look to get back on the courts after a three-year absence. Coach Joe Gravagna will have the Hawks ready on Saturday when they host Kingsborugh at Suffern High School. The first matches will go off at 12:30pm. The season opening match on Saturday at Suffolk was washed out.
The Men’s Golf team will open its season (course conditions permitting) on Monday April 7th at Spook Rock Golf Course. The Hawks will host a Mid Hudson Conference Tournament with a set tee time of 1pm. The team has won the Mid Hudson Conference two out of the last three years.
GO HAWKS!
