New York Boulders’ starting pitcher Dan Wirchansky has been selected to the Eastern Division All-Star Team of the Frontier League. The former Rockland Community College Hawk player has started 10 games for the Boulders this season, recording a 3.19 ERA and two complete games.
While at Rockland, Wirchansky was named the Mid-Hudson Conference Most Valuable Player and Region XV Player of the Year. He continued his baseball career at Pace University before being selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2019 MLB Draft.
The Frontier League All-Star Game will be held on Wednesday, July 20, at Wild Things Park in Washington PA. The park is home of the Washington Wild Things.
