Nanuet High graduate Nikki Saponaro hit two 3s as the Lady Hawks raced to a 13-5 lead in the first four minutes of the game on their way to an 61 – 27 win over Bronx Community College tonight at Eugene Levy Fieldhouse.
Saponaro led the Lady Hawks with 15 points. Nanuet alum Christine Brezovsky added 9 while Monroe Woodbury graduate Tajma Desir recorded 10 rebounds.
Rockland (6-4) will host the Lady Waves of Kingsborough Community College this Saturday, December 17 as part of a doubleheader event. Game time will be at 1pm.
