Westchester Vikings


Tuesday November 21 (Suffern, NY) – Brandon Martin scored a team-high 16 points, as six Vikings scored in double figures to lead the Westchester Community College Men’s Basketball team to its seventh straight win to start the 2017-18 season, 115-64 over Rockland CC on Tuesday night in Suffern, New York. During their incredible seven-game winning streak to open the season, the Vikings have won all three Region XV games, by an average margin of 39.7 points per game.

The Vikings dominated from the start, racing to a quick lead that extended to 51-33 at halftime. During the second half, a big lead turned into a rout as the WCC bench combined for 58 points as the Vikings shot an incredible 24 for 29 from the free throw line.

Also for WCC, Tremaine Fraiser scored 15 points, Pierre Lys added 14 points, Demetrius Whitney scored 12 points, Randy Stephens added 11 points, and Raykwon Fenton had 10 points during an incredibly balanced scoring night for Westchester.
