Rockland and Westchester won their respective semifinal match to set up a showdown for the Region XV Championship Crown.
The RCC Lady Hawks have advanced to their first Region XV Championship game in over 30 years. Rockland, the second seed, jumped out to a 39-28 halftime lead and held on for a 71-65 victory over third seeded Sullivan on Saturday afternoon. RCC (25-6) will now take on bridge-rival Westchester in Sunday’s Region XV Championship Game. Westchester defeated Suffolk, 89-50 in the other semi-final. Sunday’s game is set for Noon at the Monroe College Athletic Center in New Rochelle.
