Luisbert Frias of the Westchester Community College Baseball team has been named the Mid-Hudson Conference Athlete of the Week.
Frias went on a streak where he went 9 for 18 at the plate with 8 RBIs, 8 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. With the Vikings trailing Waubonsee Frias hit a 3-run homer and followed it up with a 2 run homer. Westchester defeated Waubonsee, Hudson valley and Praire State.
Frias is a Freshman Shortstop out of Port Chester High School in Port Chester New York.
